Torrox Crafts

The following products are typical for Torrox:

• Leatherwork, saddlery, harnesses, traditional leather products for the cavalry. Such as saddles.
• Furnace forged irons - forged iron fittings, balconies, railings, etc. Country side forged iron articles such as picks, hoes, shovels, etc.
  Andalucian Crafts
• Ceramics related to decoration or household godos. Hand made and or painted.
  
• Jarapa (popular blanket made from left over materials used as a rugs, blankest, basecovers or curtains) embroidery, rugs and tapestries.
  
• Saddlery: work related to the horse world in embossed leather.
• Flamenco dresses: made with fabrics and/or embroidery in relación to the Flamenco singing, dancing and the Ferias
  
• Wood furniture and wood railings (in the wine regions)
  
• Locksmiths, forged iron, such as railings, gates, doors, etc.
  
• Work in bronz, coppre and brass.
  
• Products/objetcs such as baskets, hats, decorative ornaments, hemp handbags, wicker, etc.
• Leather bags, coats, purses, etc. (especially from the area around Campillos).
  
• Traditionally made string instruments such as guitars, mandolins, luters, mandolins.

Most traditional products can be bought in little shops of Torrox but also throughout Andalusia. During the different events of Torrox there are also stands where traditional products from Torrox are sol.
