Granada Albaicin

There are loads of sites in Granada, one of which the neighborhoods Albaicin and Sacromonte, and many historical monuments such as the Alhambra.

The neighborhood Albaicinis one of the most beautiful and charming neighbourhoods of Granada. Rich with history and part of the UNESCO World Heritage as is the Alhambra.
This neighborhood is located on the edge of the most visited monument of the city, La Alhambra in the Cerro de San Cristóbal.

Narrow streets and small lit up squares with the scent of flowers and jasmine. The Albaicin is a neighborhood where you can still find lots of Arabic influences, mainly in the structure and history.

There are lots of viewing points where you have amazing views over the city of Granada and the Alhambra, especially from the San Nicolás and San Cristóbal viewing points.

Go back into time and find yourself in the time of the Moors when you stroll through the streets and squares of this area.

You will also see the typical houses with gardens of Granada, also known as "Cármenes".

On the cozy squares you will find restaurants and bars where street musicians often play. When visiting this neighborhood you must try one of the typical tapas from Granada or one of the Arabic cakes.
