Weather in Torrox

The weather in Torrox has received the name: "The best climate in Europe".

Thanks to its position between the mountains of the Sierra de Almijara and the Mediterranean Sea (Costa del Sol) , the average temperature in Torrox is mild in the winter as in the summer.

Climate studies show that Torrox has the best climate in Europe; the yearly average temperature is 18°C, without any large differences in either the winter or the summer making this a similar climate as the subtropics. This is why Torrox was given the name "The best Climate in Europe". The average temperature in the summer is between 18 and 30 °C, it has 2980 sun hours per year and an average rainfall of 532l/m2.
