Why choose Torrox?

For all who don´t know where Torrox is at, Torrox is THE village with the best climate of Europe. Located in  Andalusia, province of Málaga and divided in two parts: Torrox Pueblo (in the mountains) and Torrox Costa ( by the sea).

Torrox, the ideal place for nature lovers and beach holidays. The Axarquía, also know as the “unspoilt” Costa del Sol, there are less tourists and still “undiscovered” places to visit.Enough hiking itineraries to go hiking every day! Enough biking itineraries to go biking every day! Enough beaches to try a different beach every day!

Malaga soup recipe (gazpachuelo)

A soup typical of the area of Malaga in the south of  Spain, is gazpachuelo, a tasty soup with potatoes and shrimps.

Ingredients for 4:

500g of potato
250g prawns / shrimps
2 eggs
vinegar
salt
water
oil

Preparation:

Boil the  potatoes and shrims in water with salt. When potatoes are ready, take out the potatoes and the shrimps and let the soup cool down.
Make a mayonnaise using a blender to mix egg, vinegar, salt, oil and some water.

Then add the mayonnaise to the cold soup, stirring so it does not “curdle”. Add the potatoes and peeled shrimps. Finally, heat the soup without reaching boiling stage to prevent the mayonnaise to “curdle”.

Serve hot with a little of parsley.
