Since beginning work in October, Grupo El Fuerte, in line with their commitment to caring for the environment, has mounted a campaign to protect the chameleon, working in conjunction with Torrox Council.
The east coast of Malaga is one of the few areas in Europe in which this extraordinary creature lives, and the preservation of this peculiar species, which is in danger of extinction, has become one of our most pressing objectives.
All chameleons in the area will be taken to nearby areas with the same environmental and climatic characteristics.
Children visiting the facilities at Calaceite will receive a great T-shirt, with Calito Camaleón and our slogan “Calaceite me cuida” (Calaceite cares for me).
On August 26 we had a pleasant surprise in the Sales Office, a kind of chamaleon visited us.
